Favorite Date Night Games

While this can be played as a regular game, the main portion is designed as a legacy game where the same players work through different “episodes” as the game and rules evolve and build upon previous rounds. Think Tetris plus building factory quarters, mining for gold, racing to the rail line… that’s what you’ll find in this game.

-It’s made for a perfect date night game because it keeps Simeon and I coming to back to continue through the progressing episodes!

-Note: The rules in the legacy game builds on the previous round so I do not suggest beginning it if you do not have several weeks to keep up momentum and play through the entire game. Consistent play makes it a lot more fun and easier to keep up with all the rules. There are 8 episodes with 3 rounds in each. We played 1 episode in probably an hour, so over the course of several weeks we were able to finish the game. 

Race to build your forest by adding trees and animals that are worth different point values. There are many different strategies to this game, so it’s fun to see how each unique play evolves.

Dive into the beautiful world of birds as you gain food tokens, add birds to your habitats, lay eggs, and collect points.

-This might be our favorite game at present. It is so beautiful, and it is a great way to learn more about birds of North America.

–The do have expansion packs for other areas of birds. We got the Oceania pack for Christmas, but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet.

On your mark. Get set. Go! Race down the track and try to be the first to finish the race. But that’s not the only thing to focus on! You will need to watch other players, make educated guesses on who you think will win throughout, and try to move your car and not others.

-So much fun for any groups from 2-6 players
