The ministry of the Hamilton’s has blessed our family for years. Shelley’s story of their ministry, family, and specifically their son’s journey with mental illness was a powerful read. If you know and love someone who struggles with mental illness, this will be such a helpful resource. She speaks as someone with great faith in God, yet one who acknowledges that many people suffer with real medical issues related to mental disorders. This is an area that is often neglected in the Christian community, so I was greatly helped by her insight and wisdom.

Teatime Discipleship

This is Sally Clarkson’s newest book, and it is an amazing resource! As always, Sally’s writing is encourageing and Christ-cenetered. But this book is so much more! It includes recipes, journal prompts, information on different types of tea, and more. It makes a beautiful addition to your home library or coffee table. If you enjoy tea, friendship, and discipleship- this book is for you!

The Greatest Stories Never Told

The Christian Heroes: Then & Now series has my highest recommendation! Every biography I’ve read from them has been stellar. I read through this book with my oldest daughter, and we were both encouraged and challenged in our faith. I am thankful for a resource that helps me introduce these great heros of the faith to my children. These are the people I want them to admire and pattern their lives after!

Hidden Among the Stars

This was a captivating novel set in Austria during World War II. The intriguing plot line and complex characters kept me wanting more.

This is the sweetest collection of stories that follow mice families that live in Brambley Hedge. My children and I devoured these stories! The illustrations are lovely!
